Kerala Congress chief V.D. Satheesan has asked the Centre to conduct an urgent safety review of NH-66, citing the need for better traffic management and signage.
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president V.D. Satheesan has formally requested the central government to initiate a comprehensive and urgent review of safety protocols along National Highway 66. In a communication addressed to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Satheesan highlighted the pressing need for immediate intervention on the stretch.
The appeal underscores a demand for a significant upgrade in traffic management systems along the highway. Satheesan has specifically called for the implementation of more effective and visible signage to guide motorists, which is seen as a critical step in preventing accidents and ensuring smoother vehicular movement.
