A woman was found dead inside an abandoned car near a private school in Khammam, with police alleging that her husband throttled her before leaving the vehicle behind and fleeing.
The case was registered by the Khanapuram Haveli police after the woman's relatives approached them with a complaint. The deceased has been identified as Renuka, wife of Vidyasagar, a car driver and a native of Rompedu village in Yellandu mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
