Nagarjuna Akkineni's 'King100' First Glimpse Unveiled on His Birthday

Annapurna Studios released the first glimpse of Nagarjuna Akkineni's 100th film, 'King100', on his birthday, revealing a powerful new look and a December 24, 2026 release date.

Annapurna Studios has released the first glimpse of Nagarjuna Akkineni's landmark 100th film, officially titled 'King100'. The reveal was timed to coincide with the actor's birthday, offering fans their first look at the project after a year of production kept largely under wraps.

The over one-and-a-half-minute glimpse introduces Nagarjuna in a stylish, larger-than-life avatar. It opens with his character reflecting on the nature of power and identity: "There are two types of people in this world. Those who have money and those who don't. When I had no money, they called me a loser. When I had money, they called me a King. But this identity is more powerful than money. To uphold this identity, I have to keep running."

The footage provides a sharp look at his rise to power and the relentless drive required to maintain his status as 'The King'. A striking gold look accentuates the character's persona, while an energetic score by Devi Sri Prasad adds intensity to the visuals.

The glimpse concludes with the reveal of the 'King100' title and confirms the film's release date of December 24, 2026. It closes with the celebratory message "Long Live The King," serving as a fitting tribute to Nagarjuna's milestone.

'King100' is written and directed by R.A. Karthik and produced by Annapurna Studios. The technical team includes cinematographer Raja Mahadhevan, production designer Sathees Kumar N, and editor Navin Nooli.
