KNRUHS opens first-phase MBBS web options for 2026-27

KNRUHS begins first-phase MBBS counselling web options for 2026-27; window open Aug 29-Sep 1.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has announced the first phase of web-based counselling for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27. Eligible candidates can exercise their web options from 6 a.m. on August 29 to noon on September 1 through the official counselling portal.

The counselling covers MBBS seats in government and private unaided minority and non-minority medical colleges affiliated with KNRUHS. It also includes candidates under the EWS, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), PMC, CAP, and SCCL categories.

Candidates whose certificates were uploaded during online registration, provisionally verified by the concerned departments, and whose names appear in the final merit list of UG Medical Admissions published on the KNRUHS website on August 28 are eligible to exercise web options.

KNRUHS has cautioned that candidates who fail to exercise web options during the first phase will not be permitted to do so in subsequent counselling phases. Similarly, those who are allotted a seat according to their choices but do not join the allotted college will not be eligible for later rounds.

Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted medical college. Any discrepancy found during verification could lead to cancellation of the provisional allotment and further action under university regulations.
