Komal Rani Swarnkar Denies Role in Govinda-Sunita Ahuja Rumours

Komal Rani Swarnkar has publicly rejected rumours linking her to actor Govinda, responding after his wife, Sunita Ahuja, made remarks that brought her name into the speculation surrounding the couple's marriage.

In a long post on her Instagram Story, Swarnkar questioned the claims directed at her and levelled serious allegations about how Govinda is being treated. She wrote that the curses of a woman who has supposedly tried to kill her own husband for years do not affect anyone, and said no one can be a homebreaker in a house that is already broken. She added that people in the country would not chase a crow merely because someone claimed it had taken their ear.

Swarnkar alleged that the actor is being mentally harassed and stopped from working. She said she could not understand what kind of pain a woman is going through, where instead of trying to heal it, she appears to enjoy displaying it in public. She asked whether this was genuine pain or a carefully thought-out conspiracy, and described a pattern of constantly harassing a man mentally, preventing him from working, forcing him to sit at home and waste away, isolating him completely and driving him to the point of death.

She said she did not think any good and devoted wife could treat her husband so terribly, and asked whether such women are mentally unwell or simply too clever, fully aware that what they could not accomplish behind closed doors can be achieved by going public and gaining sympathy. She urged that her name not be used to serve anyone's agenda, and said she hoped God would protect every decent man from such cunning women.

The controversy has unfolded alongside renewed speculation about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's marriage. Govinda recently drew attention after appearing at the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with his 'Roopa' co-star, visuals from which spread quickly on social media and fuelled a range of narratives among fans and online users.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been married since 1987. They have two children, daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja.
