Krystle D'Souza on 'The Traitors' Win: No Special Bonds, No Regrets

Krystle D'Souza and Rida Tharana are celebrating their victory in the second season of the reality show 'The Traitors'. The duo successfully navigated a season filled with strategy and deception, keeping their fellow contestants unaware of their true roles until the very end.

Reflecting on her time in the game, D'Souza expressed immense satisfaction with her experience. "I would like to do this journey again and again," she said, adding that she thoroughly enjoyed her role as a traitor and would not have wanted to play as an innocent. She acknowledged the challenging and draining days but noted they were all part of a fulfilling experience.

Despite her deceptive role, the actor asserted that she played with integrity. "I was never dishonest to myself or the game," she stated, clarifying that she never cheated or acted out of character.

Addressing her relationships with other contestants, including Shahneel Gill, D'Souza was candid. "I didn't have any special bond with anyone," she said, referencing fellow contestant Aditya Kulshrestha's repeated observations that she wasn't their friend. She explained that an unspoken code existed among the traitors to protect each other's identities. While she felt a slight pang of regret regarding Gill, she maintained that their relationship was not one of friendship.

D'Souza also used the opportunity to respond to online trolls who targeted her appearance. "I have won. With all those expressions," she said defiantly. "I don't care what they think about my face or my looks." She reasoned that critics often look for faults when they have nothing else to say, adding that if that is the worst they can say, she considers it a compliment.

During the finale, D'Souza and Tharana revealed their identities as the traitors, leaving Sahil Salathia and Shalini Passi surprised. Host Karan Johar congratulated the winners as the season concluded.
