KTR Releases 'Charge Sheet' Against Telangana CM Over 1,000 Days of Congress Rule

BRS working president KT Rama Rao has launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, marking the completion of 1,000 days of the Congress government with what he termed a 'charge sheet' against the administration. Rama Rao described the period as '1,000 days of public oppression' rather than governance.

Speaking to the media, Rama Rao condemned the Chief Minister's recent political rhetoric, specifically targeting his 'bull vs pig' analogy. Reddy had earlier used the comparison while questioning the absence of former Chief Minister KCR from active politics, drawing a distinction between a sacred bull and a pig. Rama Rao stated that such language reflects an 'absolute lack of culture' and a disregard for parliamentary decorum, accusing the CM of reducing political discourse to 'gutter-level insults.'

Rama Rao escalated his attack by alleging widespread corruption within the state administration. He claimed that the Chief Minister's family is directly benefiting from illicit land deals and commission networks, asserting that the scale of these scams is 'exponentially bigger' than Karnataka's MUDA case. He demanded Reddy's immediate resignation, stating the CM has lost the moral right to hold office.

Taking a dig at the administration's foreign outreach, Rama Rao mocked reports of a denied US trip for the Chief Minister. He accused the Congress government of 'kneeling before Delhi' and surrendering Telangana's self-respect for political survival, questioning its claims of attracting investments when basic international clearances are being denied.

Amid the allegations of failures across key sectors, Rama Rao announced a comprehensive statewide padyatra scheduled for next year. The public outreach drive aims to connect with citizens, expose unfulfilled promises of the Congress party, and ensure the return of the KCR-led BRS government to power.
