Truth prevailed in skill scam case against Naidu, says Lokesh on third anniversary
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said truth prevailed in the skill development scam case against N. Chandrababu Naidu, marking three years since the FIR was filed.
Andhra Pradesh IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh on Wednesday said that truth had prevailed in the skill development scam case registered against N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was then the Leader of the Opposition. His remarks came exactly three years after the case was filed on September 9, 2023.
In a social media post, Mr. Lokesh said Mr. Naidu had been illegally imprisoned in a fabricated case for political gains. He noted that for 53 days, the entire Telugu community worldwide extended its support to Mr. Naidu.
Mr. Lokesh recalled that Mr. Naidu continued to assert that truth would prevail, and the allegations were ultimately proved wrong. He was released from what Mr. Lokesh described as illegal detention after the courts quashed the FIR.
"The truth has won. Remembering those dark days from back then... I once again express my heartfelt gratitude to the Telugu community for their support," Mr. Lokesh said.
The Minister's statement marks the third anniversary of the case's registration, which had led to Mr. Naidu's arrest and subsequent release following court intervention.
