Lust Stories 3 to Premiere on Netflix on September 18 (2026-09-05)

Netflix has announced that the third instalment of its anthology franchise, Lust Stories, will premiere globally on September 18. The new edition brings together four filmmakers — Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj — each presenting a distinct story exploring relationships, desire and human connection.

The anthology is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. It features an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada.

Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, Director of Original Films at Netflix India, said the franchise's strength lies in its ability to reinvent itself with each chapter. "Each chapter begins with a shared human impulse and arrives at a completely different emotional truth," she noted, adding that desire in these stories opens a window into power, vulnerability, agency, compromise, and unspoken struggles.

Producer Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP said the anthology has consistently challenged conventions by pairing exceptional filmmakers with deeply human stories. He credited Netflix as a valued partner in giving these distinctive narratives a global platform.

Producer Ashi Dua added that while each story differs in tone and perspective, they are united by honesty and vulnerability, creating a shared emotional experience for viewers.

The screenwriting team includes Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Lust Stories 3 will stream on Netflix from September 18.
