MP TET to Be Held in Both Online and Offline Modes, Says CM Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Saturday that the state's Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will now be conducted in both online and offline modes. The decision, announced during the state-level Teacher Honour Ceremony in Bhopal on the occasion of Teachers' Day, is aimed at easing the process for aspiring teachers.

Speaking at the event held at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management, Yadav said the government is committed to taking decisions that improve conditions for teachers. He noted that the TET, conducted as per the directions of the Supreme Court, will now offer an offline option alongside the existing online format.

The School Education Department also shared a video of the Chief Minister's announcement on social media, reiterating the state's focus on improving educational quality.

Yadav further stated that efforts are underway to make government schools comparable to, or better than, private institutions. He emphasised the central role of teachers in shaping the nation's future, adding that their contribution goes beyond examination results.

During the ceremony, Chief Minister Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel honoured 33 outstanding teachers from across the state. Governor Patel, in his address, said education must evolve beyond textbooks to meet global standards and employment needs, and urged teachers to nurture the individual talents of students.

Yadav also highlighted the performance of government school students, noting that over half of the students in board examination merit lists come from such institutions.
