Mary Kom Enters Bigg Boss 20; Priyanka Chopra Warns Contestants of Her Knockout Power

Boxing champion Mary Kom is a contestant on Bigg Boss 20. Priyanka Chopra, who played her in a biopic, sent a warning to fellow housemates.

Five-time world champion boxer Mary Kom has officially entered the Bigg Boss house as a contestant for the show's 20th season. The Olympic medallist joined the reality programme hosted by Salman Khan on September 6, marking a significant shift from the boxing ring to the reality TV arena.

Before stepping inside, Mary received a heartfelt video message from actor Priyanka Chopra, who portrayed her in the 2014 biopic Mary Kom. In the message, Chopra wished the boxer well and advised her to stay true to herself while navigating the show's challenges. She also issued a playful warning to the other contestants, reminding them of Mary's powerful knockouts.

Priyanka and Mary have shared a close bond since working together on the film, which was directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment award at the 62nd National Film Awards.

Bigg Boss 20 premiered on September 6 and airs on JioHotstar at 9 pm and Colors at 10:30 pm. The season's lineup includes Mary Kom, Aasif Khan, Kanika Mann, ScoutOp (Tanmay Singh), Amrapali Dubey, Mahhi Vij, Yung DSA, Qazi Touqeer, Arishfa Khan, Rohed Khan, Isha Rikhi, and Gullu (Kushal Tanwar), among others.

Mary's participation adds a unique dynamic to the show, as she takes on a 105-day stint inside the house. With Priyanka's warning already setting the tone, viewers will be watching to see how the champion handles the unpredictable environment.
