MAT CBT 2026 Registration Closes Today, Exam on September 20
AIMA closes MAT CBT 2026 registration on September 14. The exam is on September 20, with admit cards due on September 17.
The All India Management Association (AIMA) is closing the application window for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) computer-based test (CBT) mode today, September 14, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can complete the form on the official website, mat.aima.in.
Applicants need a valid email ID along with a scanned photograph and signature to finish the registration. The application fee for the CBT mode is Rs 2,300, payable online. Registration is treated as complete only after the payment is made; without it, a candidate will not be eligible to sit for the examination.
Once the window closes, AIMA will issue the admit card on September 17, 2026, ahead of the test scheduled for September 20.
How to apply
- Visit the official MAT website, mat.aima.in.
- On the homepage, enter details such as name and date of birth, then click 'Register'.
- After registering, select the CBT preference from the list.
- Enter preferences for five business schools.
- Pay the registration fee of Rs 2,300 to proceed.
- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
Exam pattern
The MAT CBT paper carries five sections: Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Economic & Business Environment. Each section has thirty questions, and the test runs for 120 minutes.
Every correct answer earns one mark, while each incorrect response attracts a penalty of 0.25 marks. Questions left unattempted or unanswered receive zero marks.
Candidates are advised to finish the application process before the deadline, as no registrations will be accepted once the window closes.
