MAT 2026: PBT Registration Window Closes Today, September 7

The All India Management Association (AIMA) will close the registration window for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) paper-based test (PBT) mode today, September 7, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied must complete the online application process before the deadline to be considered for the exam.
Applicants can register by visiting the official website, mat.aima.in. The application fee is Rs 2,300, which must be paid online to complete the registration. AIMA has clarified that no forms will be accepted after the window closes.
Following the closure of registrations, AIMA will release the MAT PBT admit cards on September 10, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on September 13, 2026.
How to Apply for MAT PBT Mode
Candidates can follow these steps to register:
- Visit the official website, mat.aima.in.
- On the homepage, enter personal details such as name, date of birth, state, email ID, and phone number, then click 'Register'.
- After registration, select 'PBT' as the preferred test mode.
- Choose five business school preferences.
- Pay the registration fee of Rs 2,300.
- Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the designated fields.
- Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates should review the eligibility requirements:
- There is no age limit for appearing in the MAT.
- Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree or be appearing for their final-year examination in the same year as applying.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can make.
