CAT 2026 Registration Closed: MBA Entrance Exams Still Open for 2027 Admissions
CAT 2026 registration ended on September 22, but XAT, MAT, SNAP, NMAT, and IBSAT applications remain open for MBA admissions 2027.
The registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 closed on September 22, leaving candidates who missed the deadline to look at other routes into management programmes for the 2027 admission cycle. Several national-level entrance tests are still accepting applications, with deadlines spread across the coming months.
XAT 2027
The Xavier Aptitude Test, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for MBA and PGDM admissions, will be held on January 3, 2027, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Applications are open until December 3, 2026. The test is conducted in more than 100 cities, and its score is accepted by over 250 business schools.
MAT December 2026
The Management Aptitude Test will be held on December 20, 2026, in paper-based mode and on December 27, 2026, in computer-based mode. Candidates can apply for the paper-based test until December 14, while the computer-based test portal remains open until December 21.
IBSAT 2026
The ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, follows a syllabus similar to other national management entrance exams. Applications close on December 22. A single application covers all nine IBS campuses offering full-time MBA and PGPM programmes.
SNAP 2026
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will hold the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test on three dates — December 13, 19, and 26. The application window closes on November 25, 2026.
NMAT 2026
For admission to the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, the application portal is open until October 10, 2026.
