NEET UG Counselling: MCC Opens PwD Portal for Round 2 Medical Checks

MCC activates PwD portal for NEET UG Round 2; medical assessments scheduled from Sept 5-8, 2026.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has activated the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) portal for Round 2 of the NEET Undergraduate (UG) counselling process for 2026. In a notice issued on September 2, the committee outlined a revised schedule for mandatory medical assessments of candidates applying under the PwD category.

Under the updated timeline, candidates reporting to the Primary Medical Assessment Board by 10:30 AM on September 5, 2026, will be evaluated as per the revised Round 2 schedule. The primary assessment process is slated for completion by 6 PM on September 6, 2026.

For those unable to meet the initial deadline, the Appellate Medical Assessment Board will conduct evaluations for candidates who report by 12 noon on September 8, 2026. MCC has urged candidates to strictly adhere to these reporting times to avoid missing their scheduled assessments.

The committee has also advised all concerned candidates to reach their designated assessment centres within the stipulated timeframe. Additionally, candidates must ensure their assessment details are generated online on the MCC portal after the evaluation is completed.

MCC has recommended that candidates regularly monitor its official website for further announcements and updates related to NEET UG Counselling 2026.
