Officials reject charges of manipulation in Mega DSC-2025 sports quota picks
Officials deny irregularities in Mega DSC-2025 sports quota selection, promising action against fraud while protecting genuine candidates.
The School Education department has dismissed allegations of irregularities in the sports quota selection process for Mega DSC-2025, asserting that the exercise was conducted transparently.
Speaking to the media, the Commissioner of School Education, who also serves as Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP), said that every claim is being scrutinised. He made it clear that if any submitted certificate is found to be fraudulent, or if a candidate is determined to be ineligible, appropriate action will follow.
At the same time, the official stressed that deserving applicants should not suffer merely because of unsubstantiated allegations. He underlined the department's commitment to ensuring that no genuine candidate faces injustice during the verification process.
The remarks come amid public concerns over the selection of candidates under the sports quota for the mega recruitment drive. Officials have urged stakeholders to rely on the formal review rather than unverified claims.
