Madhya Pradesh nets Rs 53,000 crore investment pledges during CM's UAE trip

MP receives over Rs 53,000 crore in investment proposals during CM Yadav's UAE visit, led by Rana Holdings and NIDI Services.

Madhya Pradesh has attracted investment proposals exceeding Rs 53,000 crore during the third day of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's visit to the United Arab Emirates, with significant interest in green energy, artificial intelligence, data centres, and advanced manufacturing.

The largest proposal came from Rana Holdings Limited, which plans to invest around Rs 35,200 crore (USD 4 billion) in projects including a 2,000 MW solar energy portfolio, a 200 MW green hydrogen plant, an AI and compute data centre, a critical minerals recovery and recycling complex, and a smart manufacturing hub. The data centre would initially have a capacity of 50 MW, expandable to 200 MW, while the minerals complex is proposed to handle 30,000 metric tonnes per annum.

Another major proposal was presented by NIDI Services DMCC/SCNELL, which discussed setting up an industrial-scale AI compute campus and a Sovereign AI Factory. The company outlined a concept involving an investment of USD 1.5-2 billion (approximately Rs 18,000 crore) for a 50 MW AI Factory, with potential expansion beyond 100 MW.

During the visit, CM Yadav held meetings with several companies and business groups, including GEMS Education, Crescent Group, PureHealth, Sharaf Group, Choithrams, DP World, KGK Group, Vistas Media Capital, and VFS Global, covering sectors such as healthcare, logistics, education, gems and jewellery, tourism, and digital content.

The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) received the 'Winner Asia' honour at the AIM Investment Awards 2026, recognising its performance in investment promotion, FDI attraction, employment generation, innovation, and sustainable development.

At an 'Invest in Madhya Pradesh' session, Yadav said the state had received investment proposals worth over Rs 34 lakh crore in the past two-and-a-half years, with more than 30 per cent already implemented. He invited investors to the Global Investors Summit (GIS-2027) scheduled for January 2027 in Bhopal, calling Madhya Pradesh 'the heart of India' that welcomes investors from the heart.

The CM's engagements in Dubai and Sharjah included meetings with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a visit to BEEAH's sustainability facilities, and a meeting with Emaar Properties founder Mohamed Alabbar.
