Mysaa and Gunmaaster G9 Set for Same-Day Box Office Battle

Two big-ticket Hindi films — Mysaa and Gunmaaster G9 — will release on November 27, 2026, setting up a genre clash.

The November 27, 2026 weekend is shaping up to be a crowded one at the box office, with two major star-led films arriving on the same day. Rashmika Mandanna's action drama Mysaa and Emraan Hashmi's romantic actioner Gunmaaster G9 will both hit theatres, offering audiences two very different cinematic experiences.

Mysaa, directed by Rawindra Pulle, was officially dated on September 1 with a new poster. The film features Mandanna in a never-seen-before role as a tribal warrior, an intense avatar that has already generated considerable curiosity. Positioned as a pan-India entertainer, the film will release in multiple languages and is expected to showcase high-octane stunt sequences built around its strong female protagonist.

On the other side, Gunmaaster G9 pairs Emraan Hashmi with Genelia Deshmukh for the first time. Directed by Aditya Datt, the film casts Hashmi as a lover willing to go to extreme lengths for romance, with Aparshakti Khurana playing the antagonist. The recently unveiled teaser gave audiences a glimpse of the film's blend of romance and action.

With both films targeting the same release date, the clash pits Mandanna's action-heavy, pan-India appeal against Hashmi's fresh pairing and genre-blending narrative. The November 27 weekend will likely see a face-off between two distinct styles of mainstream cinema.
