Mysaa teaser unveiled: Rashmika Mandanna turns Gond tribal warrior in Rawindra Pulle's action drama
The teaser of Rashmika Mandanna's pan-India action film Mysaa was released, showing her as a Gond tribal woman in intense action sequences.
The teaser for the pan-India action drama Mysaa, headlined by Rashmika Mandanna, was released on Sunday, offering a first look at the actor in a markedly different screen avatar.
Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle, the film casts Rashmika as a Gond tribal woman described as strong and fearless, a character who confronts a series of obstacles rather than retreating from them. The teaser opens with her character voicing the weight of her struggles, saying she is tired, has stopped and has lost, before the narrative pivots to show her choosing to fight on.
According to the makers, the role demanded physical preparation for multiple action stretches. The footage includes her riding a bike and performing underwater action, with one striking image showing her seated beneath the water holding a sickle.
The ensemble cast features Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, Rao Ramesh, Rahul Ravindran, Samuthirakani, Shiva Kandukuri, Karthik Ranjini, Tarak Ponnappa and Nidhi Singh in key roles. Shreyaas K Krishna is the cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy has composed the music, while the action sequences have been designed by international action choreographer Andy Long.
Mysaa is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 27, 2026, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Rashmika was most recently seen in the Hindi romantic comedy-drama Cocktail 2, which released on June 19 and also stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
