Naidu Challenges YSRCP to Assembly Debate on DSC Recruitment

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has challenged the opposition YSRCP to a debate in the Assembly, with evidence, over the DSC recruitment process. He described the ongoing campaign against the recruitment as false and said any legal dispute over what he termed a lawful process could be taken to court.
Naidu also warned against attacks on teachers, calling street attacks deplorable. He said teachers have been promptly countering the campaign themselves.
The Chief Minister's remarks frame the recruitment issue as one that should be settled through institutional channels — either a legislative debate or the courts — rather than through public confrontation or violence.
By inviting an evidence-based discussion in the Assembly, Naidu sought to push the opposition to substantiate its claims about the recruitment drive. He maintained that the process was lawful and that legal remedies remain available to anyone contesting it.
His warning against attacks on teachers came amid the charged atmosphere surrounding the recruitment matter. Naidu noted that teachers have been quick to respond to the campaign against the process.
