Nanobiotix Reports Full Phase 1 Results for JNJ-1900 in Recurrent Lung Cancer
Nanobiotix announced complete Phase 1 results for JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) in inoperable, recurrent non-small cell lung cancer, with additional enrollment planned.
Nanobiotix has announced complete full-cohort Phase 1 results for its investigational therapy JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) in patients with inoperable, recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. Enrollment in both the dose-escalation and expansion parts of the study has been completed as specified in the protocol.
According to the company, all 24 patients finished treatment with JNJ-1900, and no dose-limiting toxicities or Grade 3 or higher adverse events were observed. Radiotherapy-related Grade 3 adverse events occurred in 33% of patients, while Grade 5 events were reported in 8%. The Phase 2 dose has been set at 33% of gross tumor volume.
Investigators concluded that JNJ-1900 may allow clinically meaningful local control using a substantially lower re-irradiation dose. At the 12-month follow-up in August 2026, the one-year locoregional control rate stood at 79%, local progression-free survival at 61%, and overall survival at 70%.
Citing the encouraging findings, the company said additional patient enrollment in the study is planned.
