NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Round 2 Choice Locking Closes September 21
MCC closes NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2 choice filling and locking on September 21; seat allotment result on September 23.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will shut the choice filling and locking window for Round 2 of NEET (Master Dental Surgery) MDS Counselling 2026 on September 21. Registered candidates must finalise and lock their preferred choices before the deadline to remain eligible for seat allotment.
Choice filling for the round opened on September 16, with the locking facility becoming available from September 19. Both processes close on September 21.

What happens after locking
Seat allotment processing will run from September 21 to 22, and the Round 2 result is scheduled for September 23. Candidates who receive seats must complete reporting and joining formalities between September 24 and September 30.
The committee will carry out verification and share data on joined candidates on October 1. Candidates are advised to finish every counselling step within the notified timelines and to check the official MCC portal for updates.
