MCC Opens NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2 Registration Window
MCC has released the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2 schedule, with registration open September 15-19 and seat allotment results on September 23.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for Round 2 of NEET MDS Counselling 2026, opening the next stage of admissions to Master of Dental Surgery programmes across the country.
According to the notified timeline, the registration and payment window runs from September 15 to September 19, 2026. Candidates must complete both steps within this period to remain eligible for seat allotment in the second round.
Choice filling and locking will be conducted from September 16 to September 21, 2026, with the locking facility specifically available from September 19 to September 21. Aspirants are advised to finalise and lock their preferences before the deadline, as unlocked choices may not be considered.
Seat allotment processing is scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on September 23, 2026.
Candidates who receive seats must complete reporting or joining formalities between September 24 and September 30, 2026. Verification and sharing of data on joined candidates will take place on October 1, 2026.
The counselling covers 50 per cent All India Quota seats as well as 100 per cent of seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions.
To register, candidates need to visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in, locate the candidate activity section and select the link for new registration for MDS Counselling 2026. They will be required to enter details including roll number, password and security PIN, and should save the completed registration form for future reference.
