NEET PG 2026 Answer Key and Response Sheet Expected Soon, Result on September 30

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to release the NEET PG 2026 answer key and response sheet shortly for more than 2.65 lakh MD and MS aspirants. Candidates will be able to access both documents on the official website, natboard.edu.in, by logging in with their credentials.

For the first time, the answer key will be published alongside each candidate's recorded responses, a move that follows Supreme Court directions aimed at bringing greater transparency to the medical examination process.

How to check the answer key

1. Visit natboard.edu.in.
2. Click on the NEET PG 2026 link on the homepage.
3. Select the NEET PG 2026 answer key option.
4. Enter the required login details and submit.
5. The answer key will appear on screen; check it and download it for future reference.

Exam and result timeline

The NEET PG 2026 examination was held on August 30. A re-examination took place on September 5 for candidates whose test was cancelled after a power failure at Sitapura in Jaipur. As per the official brochure, the result will be declared on September 30.

Marking scheme and use of the answer key

With the answer key and response sheet in hand, candidates can work out an estimate of their scores. Four marks are awarded for each correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect response.

The examination is the gateway to MD, MS and PG Diploma programmes at government and private medical colleges across the country.
