NEET PG 2026 Results Due September 30; Answer Key to Precede Scorecard
NBEMS is expected to declare NEET PG 2026 results by September 30, after first releasing the answer key and candidate response sheets on natboard.edu.in.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to declare the NEET PG 2026 results by September 30, in line with its official examination calendar. The postgraduate medical entrance test was held on August 30 and drew close to 2.6 lakh candidates. A separate retest was conducted on September 5 for aspirants whose examination at centres in Jaipur was disrupted by technical problems.
Before the final results are published, NBEMS will release the answer key on its official portal, natboard.edu.in. The board will also make public the responses marked by candidates against each question in the paper. Those who appeared for the exam will be able to download both the answer key and their response sheet as PDF files from the website.
Scorecards can be retrieved from the NBEMS site using individual login credentials. Candidates should note that the result remains valid only for the current admission session, 2026-27, for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses.
Qualifying thresholds
Eligibility to take part in the NEET PG counselling process is determined by percentile cut-offs that vary by category:
- General and EWS candidates: 50th percentile
- UR PwBD candidates: 45th percentile
- SC, ST and OBC candidates: 40th percentile
The percentile itself is worked out using the formula specified in the official notification. The board has stated that the result will be declared by September 30 and hosted on natboard.edu.in.
