MCC Announces NEET UG 2026 Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Counselling Schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the schedule for Round 3 and the stray vacancy round of NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates who have not yet secured a seat, or who skipped earlier rounds, can view the timetable on the official MCC website.

Round 3 proceedings will open with seat matrix verification on September 21. Registration and payment will run from September 22 to September 27. Choice filling is scheduled from September 23 to September 28 until 12 pm, while choice locking will take place from September 27 at 7 pm to September 28 at 12 pm. The seat allotment result for Round 3 will be declared on September 30, and candidates allotted seats must report to their colleges between October 1 and October 9.

The stray vacancy round, held for seats remaining vacant after the main counselling rounds, will begin with registration and payment from October 12 to October 14. Choice filling will be open from October 12 to October 15 until 10 am, and choice locking from October 14 at 4 pm to October 15 at 10 am. The stray vacancy seat allotment result is set for October 17, with reporting to colleges from October 19 to October 26. The seat matrix verification date for this round is yet to be announced.
