
MCC Releases NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment
MCC has released the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment for 15% AIQ seats; final result on September 11.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result for Round 2 of NEET UG Counselling 2026. Candidates who took part in the second round can now view their provisional MBBS and BDS allotment on the official MCC counselling portal.
The provisional allotment covers seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ). It has been drawn up on the basis of candidates' NEET UG rank, category, the choices they submitted during counselling, seat availability and the applicable rules. Candidates are advised to go through the provisional allotment carefully and wait for the final result, which is scheduled to be announced on September 11, 2026.
Round 2 schedule
- Registration and payment: September 3 to 8, 2026
- Choice filling: September 3 to 9, 2026
- Choice locking: September 8, 4 PM to September 9, 10 AM
- Seat allotment processing: September 9 to 10, 2026
- Round 2 seat allotment result: September 11, 2026
- Allotment letter download: September 12, 2026
- Reporting and joining: September 12 to 18, 2026
How to check the result
Candidates can visit the official MCC counselling website at mcc.nic.in, open the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 result link, and check the provisional or final seat allotment result. The result can be downloaded for future reference. Once the final allotment is out, candidates must download the allotment letter from the portal.
Those who are allotted a seat in the final result will have to report to their allotted medical or dental college and complete the admission formalities between September 12 and September 18, 2026. Failing to report within the given timeline may affect the allotted seat.
