
NEET UG Counselling Round 2: Registration Window Shuts Today, Result on Sep 11
MCC ends NEET UG Round 2 registration today. Seat allotment result on Sep 11; 659 new seats added.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the registration window for Round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2026 today. Candidates who have not yet applied can complete the process through the official website, mcc.nic.in.
A total of 659 new MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats have been added for this round. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 will have the option to seek an upgrade in Round 3, but must report physically to the allotted college to confirm their admission.

In Round 1 of MCC NEET UG counselling, over 29,000 seats were allotted.
State-level counselling updates
Eighty-five per cent of state quota seats in government medical and dental colleges will be filled through state-wise counselling, along with specific shares in private and minority institutions.
In Uttar Pradesh, the Round 1 allotment result is available on dgme.up.gov.in, and allotted candidates must report to their colleges by September 14. Andhra Pradesh's final Round 1 results for MBBS under the competent authority quota are on drntr.uhsap.in, with the Round 2 schedule expected soon. Gujarat has opened Round 2 registration on medadmgujarat.org, with choice filling open until September 11.
