Netanyahu: Iran's regime is weak, faltering, and nearing its end
At a Rosh Hashana toast, Netanyahu said Iran's regime is weak and nearing its end, vowing to complete its toppling.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the occasion of a Rosh Hashana toast with his cabinet in Jerusalem to deliver a stark warning about Iran, asserting that the regime in Tehran is on the verge of collapse.
"This regime in Iran, its end is near. It is weak, fighting for its life, and faltering," Netanyahu said, according to footage released by the government press office.
The Prime Minister framed the downfall of the Iranian leadership as an unfinished objective, stating that there remains "another mission to complete" that Israel is determined to bring about. He suggested that achieving this goal would "definitively transform the face of the Middle East and the history of our people."
Netanyahu also addressed the current security situation, claiming that Iran is refraining from attacking Israel. He cautioned that if Tehran were to err and launch an assault, it would "suffer a blow beyond anything it could even imagine."
While acknowledging "tremendous achievements," the Prime Minister insisted that more work lies ahead. His comments come amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing Israeli operations against Iranian proxies and interests across the Middle East.
