Nihang Singh Killed in Shooting at Amritsar Gurdwara Fair

A Nihang Singh was killed in a shooting late Friday night at the ongoing Rakhar Punya fair at Baba Bakala Sahib Gurdwara in Amritsar, sending panic through the large crowd of devotees gathered for the annual event.

The deceased has been identified as Raja Singh, a resident of Miglani village. He was at the fair in his traditional warrior attire when unidentified persons allegedly opened fire on him following a dispute. He sustained multiple bullet wounds and died at the scene.
