Noida Woman Says Rapido Delivery Partner Sent 'I Love You' Text, Dared Her to Complain

A Noida woman alleged a Rapido delivery partner sent her an unsolicited 'I love you' message and dared her to complain. Rapido has apologized.

A Noida woman has accused a Rapido delivery partner of sending her an unsolicited and inappropriate message, and then daring her to complain when she threatened police action.

Geetika Srivastava, who shared screenshots of the alleged exchange on LinkedIn, said the delivery partner first messaged her asking how she was, before following up with an "I love you" text. She said she asked him to stop contacting her and warned that she would approach the police if he persisted.

According to the screenshots, the rider dismissed her warning, responding in Hindi that she should go ahead and file a complaint with Rapido.

In her post, Srivastava questioned how the delivery partner had access to her personal contact details, and raised concerns about the company's hiring and monitoring practices. She asked what measures Rapido has in place to ensure customer safety and privacy.

"Being a woman in this country is tough, but apparently now you can't even book a single Rapido parcel delivery without being harassed by their delivery guys," she wrote. "Look how confident he is, telling me to complain. Does that mean he suffers no consequences?"

The post drew a response from Rapido, which apologized for the alleged experience. The company said it takes such matters seriously and that customer safety, dignity, and respect are top priorities.

The incident has sparked a wider discussion on LinkedIn, with several users sharing their own experiences with app-based services. Some said an apology alone was insufficient and called for stronger action against delivery partners accused of misconduct, as well as greater accountability for the platform.
