A Russian truck has crossed into North Korea over the first road bridge spanning the two countries' shared border, according to an image released by Pyongyang's official state media on Monday.

The photograph, distributed by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), shows the vehicle arriving in the North Korean border town of Rason after traversing the newly constructed link. The bridge represents a rare physical connection between the two neighbours, whose border is otherwise marked by rivers and limited rail crossings.
