OnlyFans Model Gets 6 Years for Manslaughter in Boyfriend's Stabbing
Courtney Clenney sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the 2022 stabbing death of her boyfriend.
A Miami judge has sentenced social media model Courtney Clenney to six years in prison followed by five years of probation, after she pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2022 stabbing death of her boyfriend.
Clenney, who was known online as Courtney Tailor on platforms like Instagram and OnlyFans, admitted to the charge on Monday. The plea came in connection with the death of Christian Obumseli at the couple's Miami apartment in April 2022.
Prosecutors described the relationship between Clenney and Obumseli as "tempestuous and combative," beginning in November 2020. Clenney was arrested in Hawaii several days after the stabbing.
She had originally been charged with second-degree murder. Under the terms of the plea agreement, Clenney will receive credit for the four years she has already served in jail since her arrest, leaving approximately two years remaining on her prison sentence.
As part of her five-year probation, the court ordered Clenney to undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations, along with any required treatment. She must also complete a batterers' intervention program within the first year of probation.
Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Andrea Wilson accepted the plea after confirming that Clenney was not coerced and that no promises had been made beyond the agreement. Family members of the victim were present in the courtroom as the sentence was delivered.
