OpenAI has announced the introduction of GPT-6 Astra, its latest AI model, marking a significant step forward in the company's product lineup. The new model is being rolled out starting today to enterprise customers who have Daybreak access, giving them an early opportunity to integrate the technology.

In the coming days, availability is set to expand considerably. OpenAI plans to make GPT-6 Astra accessible to all Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users. Additionally, the model will be offered through the OpenAI API and on Amazon Web Services (AWS), broadening its reach across different platforms and developer ecosystems.

The company has also disclosed the standard pricing for GPT-6 Astra via the OpenAI API. It will be priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, establishing a clear cost structure for developers and businesses looking to leverage the model.

Alongside the model launch, OpenAI is updating its Codex harness.
