Oregon Quintuple Homicide Victims Identified; Suspect Found Dead in Washington

Authorities in Washington County, Oregon, have identified the five victims of a homicide discovered Saturday at a rural home west of Portland. The suspect, 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, was found dead in his car in Enumclaw, Washington, roughly 187 miles north of the crime scene. Police believe Parker died by suicide.

The victims include Parker's girlfriend, 26-year-old Stella Jade Kimsey; her mother, 60-year-old Rowan Karla Kimsey; and her grandmother, 85-year-old Mary Elizabeth Kimsey. Also among the dead were Stella Kimsey's best friend, 26-year-old Linsey Mae Haraldsen, and Haraldsen's partner, 27-year-old Alvin Raymond Chu.

Rowan Kimsey owned the property, located about 30 miles west of Portland, and lived there with her daughter and Parker. The sheriff's office has not specified how the people or animals died.

In addition to the human victims, two cats and two dogs were found dead at the scene. A third cat was transported to a veterinarian but was later euthanized due to the severity of its injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Sheriff Caprice Massey noted the complexity of the case, saying that in her 22 years with the office, she had not witnessed a scene quite this complex involving this type of investigation.
