Drone Debris Hits Ozon Warehouse in Russia's Orenburg Region

Drone debris hit two industrial facilities in Russia's Orenburg region, including an Ozon warehouse, prompting evacuations.

The governor of Russia's Orenburg region reported on Sunday that debris from intercepted drones struck two industrial facilities, one of which was a logistics warehouse operated by Ozon, a major Russian online retailer.

Governor Yevgeny Solntsev said the Russian defence ministry had downed six drones over the region. He confirmed that no injuries were reported but did not identify the second damaged facility.

Ozon, Russia's second-largest online retailer, said on Telegram that it had evacuated more than 300 people from its Orenburg logistics centre and suspended operations there.

The incident follows a Saturday strike on an Ozon logistics centre in the Samara region, which was the first such attack on the company. In recent weeks, Ukrainian drones have also targeted Wildberries, Ozon's larger rival, as part of a broader campaign against economic infrastructure that Ukraine says supports Russia's war effort.

Russia's defence ministry said it intercepted 328 Ukrainian drones overnight across the country.
