Parvathy Thiruvothu Debuts as Cop in 'Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar'
Parvathy Thiruvothu plays police constable Aleena Abraham in 'Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar', her first cop role in a two-decade career.
Actor Parvathy Thiruvothu is set to play a police officer for the first time in her two-decade career, with the first look of her character from the upcoming film Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar now released.
In the film, Thiruvothu portrays Aleena Abraham, a woman constable whose professional life takes an unexpected turn, placing her at the center of a tense narrative. The first-look image shows the actor in a composed yet striking police avatar.
Speaking about the role, Thiruvothu said the character drew her in because of the world Aleena inhabits and the choices she must make. She noted that stepping into the uniform was a new experience, but her interest lay in Aleena as a woman — her vulnerabilities, sense of duty, and response to a changing situation.
"Many things keep going out of control, but she cannot afford to give up," the actor said, adding that much about Aleena is left unsaid, which she found exciting to portray.
Beyond this project, Thiruvothu is also attached to the upcoming streaming series Storm, produced by HRX and Amazon.
