Prince Harry and Meghan return to UK for a fresh start

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have arrived in the United Kingdom, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Britain after spending the last six years in the United States.

The couple landed on Wednesday, with flight tracking data showing a private charter from Van Nuys, California, touching down at Birmingham International Airport just before noon. Their return comes less than a week after reports emerged of their plans to move back.

Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties over six years ago and relocated to California, where they built their careers through major deals with streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify.

Their departure was followed by a public rift with the royal family, with the couple alleging that palace staff had been insensitive to Meghan's mental health and accusing certain royals of racism and media manipulation.

In recent months, Harry has expressed a desire to reconcile, particularly to spend more time with his father, King Charles III, who is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. However, relations with his brother, Prince William, the heir to the throne, remain strained.
