Actor Rajniesh Duggal has confirmed he will portray Pankaj Sijairya, the popular Organic Chemistry educator associated with Physics Wallah, in an upcoming biographical film. The project is currently in its development phase.
The announcement came during a live Instagram conversation between Duggal and Sijairya. The actor revealed that the film's script has been written by James A., who was once a student in Sijairya's class. This personal connection is set to shape the film's narrative, offering a perspective from someone who experienced the teacher's methods firsthand.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Duggal shared that he had just completed reading the script and was impressed by its unique approach. He noted that when the opportunity arose to play Sijairya, he was immediately on board, stating he would absolutely want to be part of such a project.
Sijairya has built a significant following among students for his distinctive teaching style, which blends chemistry concepts with humour, relatable examples, and shayari. The film will also feature Esha Talwar in the female lead role.
