Ranveer Singh Pledges Education Support for 1,000 Girls at Lalbaugcha Raja

Actor Ranveer Singh visited Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Thursday evening during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, where he announced a pledge to support the education of 1,000 girls through the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
Speaking about the visit, Singh said he had come to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha and to express gratitude for a year filled with happiness for him and his family. He described the experience as wonderful and said the family had come for darshan and to seek blessings for the journey ahead.
The actor tied the announcement to two occasions — Ganesh Chaturthi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. He said he hoped the pledge would please Bappa and that divine blessings would remain with all.
Videos from his visit circulated widely on social media, drawing attention from fans, while the education pledge also became a talking point. Lalbaugcha Raja remains one of the most prominent Ganpati attractions in Mumbai during the festival.
On the work front, Singh began the year with the success of Dhurandhar and appeared in its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He is now preparing for Pralay, described as a zombie thriller directed by Jai Mehta, which will mark Kalyani Priyadarshan's Bollywood debut.
