Revanth Reddy orders round-the-clock work on Warangal super-speciality hospital
Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to speed up the Warangal super-speciality hospital, ordering round-the-clock work for 30 days and daily monitoring.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to accelerate construction of the Warangal super-speciality hospital, voicing dissatisfaction over the sluggish pace of work even though funds were released through the green channel.
Reviewing the project's progress on Monday, the Chief Minister instructed that construction continue round-the-clock for the next 30 days. Officials from the Chief Minister's Office are to visit the site regularly and review how the work is advancing.
To tighten oversight, special officers will be appointed to monitor individual components of the project, with specific responsibilities assigned to each officer. The Warangal district Collector has been asked to personally supervise the hospital works on a daily basis.
Mr. Reddy also called for outpatient (OP) services to be made available at the earliest, and said they should be organised along the lines of those at the TIMS hospital in Sanath Nagar. He further directed that staff quarters at Sanath Nagar TIMS be taken up immediately.
The review meeting was attended by MP Vem Narender Reddy and senior officials, including Sridhar, Vikas Raj, Manick Raj, Christina Z. Chongthu and T.K. Sridevi, along with Warangal Collector Satyasharda Devi and Hanamkonda Collector Chahat Bajpai.
