Revenue team inspects lands around KCR's Erravalli farmhouse in Siddipet
Revenue officials have begun verifying government and assigned lands around K. Chandrasekhar Rao's Erravalli farmhouse in Siddipet district, following the Chief Minister's direction for an inquiry.
Revenue authorities have started a verification exercise covering lands in and around the Erravalli farmhouse of former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Markook mandal of Siddipet district. The exercise follows a direction from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for an inquiry into land holdings linked to the property.
As part of the process, officials are gathering particulars of government land adjoining the farmhouse, including survey numbers, historical ownership records and current revenue entries. The inquiry is intended to establish the status of government and assigned lands in the area and to verify ownership and occupancy records.
Revenue Divisional Officer Chandrakala carried out a field inspection of government land near the farmhouse and examined land records at the Markook Tahsildar's office. The team inspected government land in Survey No. 325 of Erravalli village to identify and verify the extent of assigned lands there. Inspections were also extended to the neighbouring villages of Venkatapur and Varadarajupur.
Officials are collecting information on the persons found in possession of assigned lands and are cross-checking historical records against present-day revenue entries.
The verification comes after Mr. Revanth Reddy's statements in the Assembly on Wednesday, in which he sought a detailed inquiry into lands connected to the farmhouse and called for verification of claims relating to government land in and around the property.
