The trailer for Nikkhil Advani's upcoming period drama, 'The Revolutionaries', has been released, offering a first look at a high-stakes armed rebellion against the British Raj. The series, which will stream on Prime Video, follows four young Indians who risk everything to fight for independence.
Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, and Gurfateh Pirzada headline the cast as revolutionaries Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Lahiri, and Bagha Jatin, respectively. Jason Shah, Paoli Dam, and Tota Roy Chowdhury appear in key roles. The narrative is adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal's book, 'Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom.'
The trailer is packed with action sequences, depicting the scale of the uprising against the empire. It also highlights the personal stakes involved, focusing on themes of youth, friendship, and sacrifice. The story centers on four individuals who are willing to lay down their lives for a free nation they may never see.
Bam, speaking about his role, described Rash Behari as a 'behrupiya' or master of disguise who infiltrated British camps. He noted that the series is not a conventional freedom-fighter drama but a story about four young heroes navigating conflict and brotherhood. Saraf, who plays Sanyal, said the role required intensive training and praised the character's blend of innocence and conviction.
Produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment, 'The Revolutionaries' is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on September 11, 2026.
