Bigg Boss 20: Viral Protest Figure Rhiya Ahir Faces Public Vote Against Love Gill
Rhiya Ahir and Love Gill compete for a Bigg Boss 20 entry through a public vote in the 'Fans Ka Faisla' segment.
Ahead of the Bigg Boss 20 premiere, the show has announced a public vote to decide the final contestant. Rhiya Ahir, who gained widespread attention after a photo from a Mumbai student protest went viral, is competing against actress Love Gill for the spot.
The decision will be made through the 'Fans Ka Faisla' segment, a format introduced in the previous season. This allows viewers to directly choose which of the two candidates should enter the house.
Love Gill has built a career across Punjabi music videos, films, and television. Rhiya, on the other hand, became a recognisable face after an image from a rain-soaked protest at Shivaji Park in Dadar on July 22 circulated widely online. In the photograph, she is seen standing in front of a Mumbai Police van that was carrying detained young protesters.
The upcoming vote has brought renewed focus on Rhiya's public profile, raising questions about how her association with the protest might shape viewer perception. The 'Fans Ka Faisla' format was previously used during Bigg Boss 19, where YouTuber Mridul Tiwari won a live audience poll to enter the house as the 15th contestant. He was later eliminated during a mid-week eviction.
