RIMC Class 8 Admission 2026: NTA Opens Registration, Exam on December 6
NTA opens RIMCEE 2026 registration for Class 8 admission. Apply by Sept 30; exam on Dec 6 in pen-and-paper mode.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE) 2026. The exam is conducted for admission to Class 8 for the academic term commencing in July 2027.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official NTA website until September 30, 5:00 PM. The deadline for payment of the application fee is also September 30. Those who miss the regular window can apply with a late fee from October 1 to October 7.
The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on December 6 in pen-and-paper mode across 39 cities in India. The exam pattern includes descriptive answers for Mathematics and English, while the General Knowledge section will consist of multiple-choice questions.
Candidates must be between 12 years and six months and 14 years of age as of July 1, 2027, to be eligible.
The application fee is Rs 1,000 for General, Wards of Defence Personnel, Ex-servicemen, and OBC-NCL categories. SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs 750. A late fee of Rs 500 will apply for submissions during the late window.
