RIMC Entrance Exam 2026: Registration Open Till September 30, Exam on December 6
Registration for RIMCEE 2026 is open till September 30, with a late-fee window from October 1 to 7. The exam will be held on December 6, 2026.
The registration process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE) 2026 is currently underway. Candidates who have not yet applied can submit their forms until September 30, 2026, which is the regular application deadline.
Applicants who miss this date will have a second chance through a late-fee window. Forms can be submitted between October 1 and 7, 2026, on payment of an additional late fee of Rs 500.
After the registration window closes, a correction window will be available for candidates to make changes to their submitted applications. This window will remain open from October 9 to 11, 2026.
The entrance examination, which governs admission to Class 8 for the academic term beginning July 2027, is scheduled for December 6, 2026. It will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode in 39 cities across the country.
According to the official information bulletin, the city intimation slip will be released 12 to 15 days before the exam date, while the admit card will be issued 5 to 7 days before the examination.
How to Apply
Candidates can complete the application process online by following these steps:
- Visit the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/rimcee.
- Click on the "RIMC Entrance Exam 2026 December Application" link under the candidate activity section.
- Select the new registration option on the page that opens.
- Fill in personal details such as name, father's name, mobile number and email ID.
- After submission, login credentials will be generated.
- Log in and complete the application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Candidates are advised to download the confirmation page and retain it for future reference.
Application Fee
General, Wards of Defence personnel and Ex-Servicemen, and OBC-NCL candidates must pay Rs 1,000 to complete the application. Candidates from the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories are required to pay Rs 750.

- Domicile certificate
