
RRB Junior Engineer 2026 Applications Close September 13; Fee Payment Till September 15
The Railway Recruitment Board will shut the Junior Engineer 2026 application window on September 13, with fee payment allowed until September 15.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is set to close registrations for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment examination 2026 on September 13. Candidates who are eligible but have not yet applied can complete the process through their respective regional RRB websites before the cut-off.
Applicants will be able to pay the application fee until September 15. The schedule for the Computer-Based Test, document verification and medical examination will be announced separately in due course.
Application fee
General category candidates are required to pay Rs 500. Those in the SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender and EBC categories will pay Rs 250.
Correction window
After registrations end, the RRB will open a correction window for candidates who have already submitted their forms. This window will remain open from September 16 to September 25, 2026, allowing applicants to make changes to their submissions.
How to apply
Candidates yet to register can follow these steps:
- Visit the respective regional RRB website and register.
- After successful registration, click on the 'Created Account' option.
- Log in using the registered email ID and password.
- The RRB JE 2026 application form will appear on the screen.
- Fill in personal details such as address, age and gender.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee through an online payment method.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
Documents to keep ready
Before filling out the form, candidates should have the following ready: a scanned colour passport-size photograph, an educational qualification certificate, a valid ID proof such as a soft copy of the Aadhaar card, a category certificate, a scanned copy of their signature, and scribe details for eligible PwBD candidates.
