The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started accepting applications for 560 paramedical positions, with the registration window opening today and remaining active until October 14. Aspirants can complete the application process on the official RRB website.
Age criteria
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and no older than 40 as on January 1, 2027. Those from reserved categories will receive upper-age relaxation in line with existing government norms.
Selection and pay
The recruitment will involve a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination (ME). Candidates who make the final cut will be placed in Pay Level 3 to Pay Level 7 under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), and will also be entitled to allowances and benefits as applicable.
Application fee
Candidates in the General, OBC and EWS categories must pay Rs 500, while SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, women, transgender candidates, minorities and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) will pay Rs 250.
