Russian Drone Attack Damages Coca-Cola Facility Near Kyiv

Russian drones struck and damaged a Coca-Cola bottling plant on the outskirts of Kyiv on Thursday, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The attack occurred near the town of Brovary, east of the capital, and local officials confirmed there were no casualties.

In his nightly address, Zelenskiy characterized the strike as a deliberate message, noting the facility is American-owned. "Today, the Russians have hit a Coca-Cola plant with their drone... It's a clear Russian signal to America," he said, adding that Moscow could not have been unaware of the target's ownership.

Television footage from the scene showed firefighting crews responding as smoke billowed from the plant and drifted over adjacent fields. Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, confirmed that all plant staff were safe and that the company was cooperating with authorities to evaluate the damage. "Ensuring the safety and well-being of people remains top priority," he stated.
