As part of the preliminary inquiry, the agency has already recorded the statements of two contractors who are believed to have received the leaked information. The questioning of officials is expected to establish how the details were passed on and who was responsible.
The tender process was cancelled after the alleged leak came to light. The cancellation followed concerns that confidential particulars had been shared outside the authorised channel, undermining the fairness of the bidding process.
The case is being examined by the Vigilance, which handles corruption and misconduct complaints involving public servants. Further steps in the inquiry will depend on the evidence gathered during the questioning of officials and the statements already on record.
No arrests have been reported so far, and the identities of the officials to be questioned have not been disclosed.
